Most everyone in the gang like Two-Bit because he always makes people laugh. He is always there for them, and tries to prevent fights from sparking up in the gang. Example: When Ponyboy, Johnny, and Two-Bit are with Cherry and Marcia, Cherry asks Ponyboy about Darry, and he starts badmouthing Darry. Two-bit and Johnny try to tell Ponyboy its not true, but then out of anger Ponyboy tells Johnny that he's not wanted at home. Two-bit tries to mend the situation, and Ponyboy apologizes. Also Two-bit is very outgoing and courageous, especially the way he talks to cops.
