I like Randy. He is very brave for talking to a Greaser without trying to kill him or fighting. Randy would like Ponyboy to forgive Bob for acting so rational on the night he died. Randy also believes that neither side will win the rumble, people will just get hurt. Randy wants to runaway from being a Soc, an enemy, and in a gang. After talking to Ponyboy about Bob, Ponyboy realizes Bob was very similar to his brother, Sodapop.
Randy did a very brave thing to talk to ponyboy at that time. Usually the Greasers thought that the socs were allways evil and creul but randy told ponyboy other wise. Randy went to tell them that the rumble will be a skin rumble and that he would like ponyboy to forgive bob. I think that some people should look up to Randy because at first he was cruel like the others and then he came and said he was sorry i thing many people should look up to that.
I thnk Randy is a very strong person becasue he talked to Ponyboy in front of the other Socs. It must have been very hard because Jonnhy killed his friend Bob, and he still recognized that the Socs were in the wrong. He was brave to go near Ponyboy because Ponyboy might have been mad at him for getting drunk and almost beating up his frind and watching Ponyboy almost drown.
I think Randy did the right thing confronting Ponyboy because it made him think twice about the Socs. It made Ponyboy realize that the Socs have troubles too. I think he was also right about what he said about Bob. I think he just wanted someone to say no. Thats why he beat people up. He thought someone someday is going to have to say no and beat me up.
