IN these chapters Dally kinda changed. He helped Johnny and Ponyboy get out of that fire. He also helped them escape the police. I guess I was wrong about Dally for now.
I think that dally used to be normal, but growing up on the streets changed him. To dally, Johnny is his kid brother he never had, and without him there's no real reason, besides the fact that the rest of the gang would miss him, for him to live. I also think that dally can change back into the person he used to be, If he has anything left to hold onto
I agree with Caleb. Without Jonnhy, Dally didn't think that he had any reason to live. I don't think he should have just stood there when the police shot at him, I think that he should have turned himself in and changed into a better person. I know that it would be hard to change, though, because I don't think he knows were to go in life.
I was glad that Dally went to the church to update Ponyboy and Johnny. Smart that he led the police to Texas. It was cool that Jonny and Ponyboy cut their hair to blend in. I was also glad that Dally got them somthing to eat because they were starving.
I think Dally is a real greaser who his mean and tough and only thinks about himself. I think Johnny is his pet and thats why he gave him a gun and some money. I think Johnny is the only person Dally really cares about and I think Dally is really brave for telling the police Johnny and Ponyboy were headed for Texas.
